TATTOO FAQ
Does it hurt?
- Yes tattoos hurt
- Similar feeling to a cat scratch or mild burning sensation
- They can be more painful on bony or soft areas of skin
- People have different pain thresholds
- After 3/4 hours most people start to feel uncomfortable
FIRST TATTOO?
- When booking your tattoo we will need a rough idea of size, location, colour or black and grey, and some examples of design ideas
- Your appointment is not guaranteed until your deposit has been recieved
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE AND HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?
- It depends on the size and complexity of the design
- Once we have an idea of your design we can give an estimate of time and cost
BEFORE YOUR TATTOO
- Eat a real meal
- Grab some drinks and snacks
- Prepare for aftercare
- Don't bring lots of friends
- Feel free to bring a book or iPad
- Plan the day after
- Don't get wasted the night before
- Get lots of sleep
AFTER YOUR TATTOO
- Your tattoo will take two weeks to heal (this will vary on the size and detail of your tattoo)
- Do not bathe or swim for two weeks
- Lay off the gym
- Allow time to heal like any other wound
- Do not wear clothing or shoes that will rub
- Keep the area clean, away from pets and dirt
- Keep it out of the sun even when healed and use sun protection
